Our founder and chairman, Alex Darbahani, embodies the spirit of determination and entrepreneurship. Growing up in Stockholm, Sweden, he was instilled with a sense of curiosity and ambition from an early age. In 1989, with only $385 in his savings, Alex made the bold decision to move to California, driven by a vision to pursue his dreams in the land of opportunity.
Alex Darbahani began his career in the early 1990s as a Los Angeles limousine driver. Not long after, he moved into management with a growing service based in Culver City, where many of Hollywood’s largest and most important production facilities and executive offices are based.
In 1998, Mr. Darbahani started KLS in Beverly Hills, where it is still based. His fleet consisted of a single town car. As the firm grew, he maintained a focus not only on a painstakingly maintained fleet of world-class vehicles but on his mission of cultivating a professionally focused team of elite chauffeurs, offering a level of efficiency and customer service that few competitors could match.
Alex founded KLS Worldwide Chauffeured Services with a vision to redefine luxury travel and set new standards of excellence in the industry. Drawing upon his extensive experience in hospitality and his keen understanding of client needs, Alex transformed KLS into a global leader in chauffeured transportation, catering to discerning clients from around the world.
